After spending over a decade working behind a desk in the financial industry, I decided to follow my dreams and re-train as a personal trainer.
I have always been active and enjoyed the outdoors but I have also been overweight and unfit and it wasn't until I discovered rowing in 2000 that I began to take a serious interest in health and fitness. It took me a further five years to discover the joys of trail running but now trail running with the dog is now one of my favourite things and a fantastic way to de-stress and enjoy the great outdoors.
What are my greatest achievements?
•Losing over 2.5 stone and keeping it off
•Finishing the 2012 CTS Sussex trail marathon
•Rowing at national level and competing at Henley Royal Regatta
•Surviving a year as a cowgirl in Australia despite broken bones, crocodiles and poisonous spiders

Renae is a very friendly and inspirational personal trainer who qualified in Australia and led her first group class at the age of 16. She has worked in the health and fitness industry for seven years and has recently moved to the UK. Her passion for fitness started in her early teenage years, accompanying her mum to the classes at her local gym. She instructed her first group fitness classes at the age of 16. From that moment, she quickly realised not only the physical gains, but also the mental and emotional benefits which came with living an active lifestyle.
A personal note from Renae:
“My passion is to help people elevate their current state of health, habits and mindset to reach a lifestyle and quality of living they’ve always desired. I completed my Certificates III and IV in Personal Training and Fitness working in a number of environments ranging from commercial gyms, intimate studio spaces and all the way to the great outdoors. I have worked alongside some of the industry’s leading professionals in strength and conditioning, mobility and movement patterns.
I love helping people of all ages and abilities, with varied goals and specific requirements - whether it be to get stronger, become fitter, to be more mobile and to move through life more freely, recover from injury or to simply just clear their mind. I have a keen interest in holistic therapy and apply this where I can in my work and the material I research. I’d like to further expand this knowledge and service in the near future, returning to study nutritional medicine and Naturopathy fields."
